Samaipata Trip – Saturday and Sunday

After a very rainy but interesting Saturday, we finished the trip with two beautiful adventures on our drive back to Santa Cruz.

Samaipata Trip – Friday

Meeting all the exchange students was just the start to an incredible day and weekend. Beautiful weather, scenery, and ancient ruins made it unforgettable.

Lead Up to Samaipata

My travel day on the way to Santa Cruz was full of adventures and lots and lots of photos! I got to explore a bit of Cochabamba and check out the Supertanker.

Festejo de la Primavera

Spring is here and the atmosphere is festive! Perfect weather and great new friends have made the past few days to be really special!

First Rotary Meeting

My first rotary meeting was a really great experience and everybody was very nice. We learned about expectations for the year, local activities, and our upcoming trips!

A tragically eventful day spent in a beautiful area with some amazing friends was an opportunity for me to develop as a visual storyteller in a whole new way.

Being a little sick did not deter a day of culture and fun with friends and chunchos!

School!

One week of school down! It has been a blur of Spanish, uniforms, and new friends.

New Friends!

Many great new friends, and quite the complicated schedule! Everybody has been so nice and welcoming, yet somehow it has been much more complicated than I had imagined!

Settling In

I am settling in to Bolivia. So far we have walked around town a bit and gotten very sore after going to the gym.
